Every application needs to be signed by an specific app signer CA, the CPU shall verify the boot code, the boot code shall verify the OS image, the OS shall verify all aps, everything signed by a certified PKI infrastructure, private keys held in HSMs. Machines should have proper tamper hardware tamper detection. Expensive, and makes your life more complicated. But you get higher security. Reply
