I had friends destroy many of my joysticks on the C64 and Amiga when I was in the Navy. Archon and Archon 2 claimed a lot of them. I kept telling my Navy buddies to be gentle with these kinds of joysticks. They claimed I was breaking them. I put a label on one that said it was for my use only. I still have that one and it still works fine. It is an Epyx 500XJ, (same as a Konix Speed King). The Ergo stick is the same design with a rubberized coating. These 3 joy sticks are designed to be held in your hand. Way too many thought it would be better to place it on a desktop and use it like that. I tried every joystick I could find. There were a lot of really bad ones and a handful of great ones. Reply

vern72 My joystick in those days was "The Boss". The one with the golden button. Reply
