bill001g I am surprised netgear even cared. I hope he was a paid intern and not working for free. Even though netgear might win in courts it is unlikely the collect anything and they likely spent money paying their lawyers and for all court costs. Even if this was a company in the USA rather than india these scammers know how to quickly move the money out of the company and make sure there is nothing to tie their personal money to the company. I guess the only new thing is it is some actual company doing this. For many years there have been streamers that attempt to shut these companies down with little actual success. I did finally see some woman in the USA get some level of punishment for scamming of elderly. She got unlucky and was before a judge that livestreams to youtube so everyone knows her name. Reply

If he gets a degree he will be slightly above all the other applicants that only have the degree with no work. A judgment from a court is only the first step if they actually manage to find any money they should give him a bonus. Reply

I agree, though this is more than just "I have work experience", this is also "I was key to catching these guys", which, if you're looking for someone for any sort of tech field, should be a big leg up. Also, Netgear should help pay for his post-secondary education IMO. It's the least they can do here. Reply
