(Image credit: AOC) AOC is a name that doesn't quite carry the same brand cachet as the likes of Asus or Samsung, but the Taiwanese maker has been around for quite a long time. While it's mostly known for its value-oriented wares, its monitor department has now turned its attention to properly nice QD-OLED displays with jarringly high refresh rates. The new pixel slabs come in 27-, 32-, and 34-inch sizes, with refresh rates ranging from 165 Hz to an eye-popping 500 Hz, and in 1440p and 4K resolutions. The 27-inch model is $449.99 at Amazon , the 32-inch model rings in at $599.99 at Best Buy , and the 34-inch model is $699.99 at Best Buy .
27-inch Agon Pro AG276QZD2 with a resolution of 2560×1440 and a 240 Hz refresh rate is $449.99 at Amazon
As an exceedingly quick recap, OLED displays have a response time of effectively zero and a near-infinite contrast ratio, making for a blur-free experience with perfect blacks and popping colors. While AOC doesn't specify, given the specs and the company's history, the panels in these displays assuredly come from Samsung. By the way, if you're concerned about OLED burn-in, AOC offers a three-year warranty for any such issues. All the displays offer G-Sync Compatible VRR support.
Judging by online store stock, 27" is currently the most popular monitor size, so it makes sense that AOC has three riffs on it. The first one is the Agon Pro AG276QZD2, with a resolution of 2560×1440 and a 240 Hz refresh rate. Color and brightness-wise, it has a DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, although it does claim a peak brightness of 1000 nits. It comes with a height-adjustable stand, rear RGB lighting, and a USB hub. This model is actually pretty darn affordable at $449.99 at Amazon .
