(Image credit: AMD / Corsair / Future / Asus) No one wants to shell out for a kit of DDR5 right now, but you can essentially get a 32GB of DDR5-6400 (plus some extra goodies) with this Ryzen 7 9800X3D bundle that Newegg has going on right now. It's one of the best Black Friday deals we've seen, taking close to $1,500 worth of hardware and knocking it down to just $800.
In addition to the core components, Newegg is throwing in a $125 MSI MAG Coreliquid A15 360 all-in-one liquid cooler for free. With this bundle and one of the best Black Friday GPU deals , you can make up with a full, high-end PC for much less than picking up the components piecemeal.
Newegg bundles tend to go in and out of stock over the holiday weekend, so make sure to check in a handful of times to see if you can score a deal.
A bundle that needs to be seen to be believed, get the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, an Asus ROG Crosshair X870E Apex motherboard, 32GB of DDR5 RAM from Corsair, and a free MSI Mag Coreliquid A15 360 AIO for just $824. These are parts worth almost $1,500, and you get $25 extra off at the checkout, just in case you weren't sure about the value…
If you've paid any attention to the best gaming CPUs , you already know that the Ryzen 7 9800X3D tops the charts. AMD's 3D V-Cache has allowed it to climb to the top of the leaderboards, and although second-gen 3D V-Cache has helped chips like the Ryzen 9 9950X3D, the single CCD Ryzen 7 9800X3D still maintains a slight edge.
(Image credit: Tom's Hardware) (Image credit: Tom's Hardware) (Image credit: Tom's Hardware) (Image credit: Tom's Hardware) (Image credit: Tom's Hardware) It's not only the fastest; it's the fastest by far. At 1080p, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D outpaces the Core i9-14900K by a massive 30% margin in games, and it even offers a solid generational improvement. Compared to the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is nearly 15% faster.
You probably already knew that, though. The real draw here is the massive cost savings on a high-end motherboard, the best gaming CPU money can buy, and that sweet, sweet DDR5.
This isn't a basic kit at JEDEC speeds, either. It's a DDR5-6400 CL36. 6000 MT/s is the sweet spot for AMD's recent chips, but with a CL36 CAS latency, this kit actually comes out a bit ahead of Corsair's DDR5-6000 offerings.
The Asus ROG Crosshair X870E Apex is where the lion's share of the cost goes. The board itself is $700 normally, and for good reason. It has a robust 18 + 2 + 2 VRM design, along with Wi-Fi 7 support, a 5-Gigabit LAN port, and up to five M.2 slots; three on the board itself and two more through Asus' DIMM.2 slot. The power design is slightly less robust than the flagship ROG Crosshair X870E Extreme , but the Apex model still includes most of the notable features.
Those three components are worth the price of admission, but Newegg is also throwing in the MAG Coreliquid A15 360. As the name suggests, it's a 360mm AIO, and it comes with a universal bracket and pre-installed fans for easy installation.
