King_V So, they made it terrible. The reached for a goal of "how can we ruin a franchise?" with this? Reply
JayGau I hated every COD campaign since I went back to the franchise in 2020. I couldn't even finish the BO6 one, boring as hell. But I don't buy those games for their 5-hour campaigns, I buy them for the multiplayer and BO7 is doing great on that level. My original plan was to skip COD this year and go with Battlefield, but this ultra-shady acquisition of EA made me change my mind. Reply
Thunder64 I remember when you were able to save a game wherever you wanted, no checkpoints needed. This online only crap means the campaign will age like milk. WaW and Black Ops might be old, but I can still go back and play those when I want. Reply

COD multiplayer has been bad for a while though. They peaked about 10 years ago and it’s been a mix of downhill and down mountain since Reply
derekullo I've not played Call of Duty since the first one, but getting kicked out of a single player game for inactivity is hilarious ! The virtual Iraqians don't have time for you to play around! (Almost said Germans assuming they made a 5th , 6th, 7th WW2 simulator) Reply

Or if the game supported it, write down a pass code, which was usually just a memory address of where you were. Reply
George³ Real life didn't have saves and repeats are rare possible. Reply
