I started on the Vic-20. My raspberry pi does more than my first hand built computer and it plays PS 1 games. PS3 emulation is doing fine. Pretty soon we will be able to play Tomb Raider games that comes close to the modern reboots in terms of release dates. Most of the post TR 1-6 games made it to the PS3 so if PS3 emulation really takes off on the raspberry pi we could all be playing our games on the pi instead. I am ok with this. I have no desire to pay 1500 pounds for a stick of memory. I would rather give up computing. Reply
joeer77 As a kid I had a Apple IIGS in the 80's. A lot of the games were also offered on the Commodore 64. I was disappointed many of the games I knew were not offered here. Zany Golf, F-15 Strike Eagle, Where in the World is Carmen San Diego, Tomahawk, Test Drive 2 The Duel, Hardball, Robocop, Rastan, etc. Nothing for this Commodore 64? I would have bought one if some of these were offered. Never heard of these games in article. Reply

I'll be a little more explicit than TerryLaze , you can add games from a usb stick. There are tons of legally owned games you can add, and "cough cough, nudge nudge". Also in response to ejolson , it's actually a slightly different version of the C64 Mini, which came out in 2018. So over 7 years later, people are still buying the same fake keyboard, on the same emulation console. 42% is actually a tiny discount when you think of it that way. I bought the Maxi years ago because for me, a functioning keyboard meant everything in re-living the experience. I soldered an additional usb-mini port to the tiny SBC inside so I can plug it into a modern PC. I thought the fake keyboard of the Mini was a rip-off back then, but RetroGames is having the last laugh. Reply
