TechieTwo IME the Seasonic Prime PSUs are the top of the heap for performance and reliability. They ain't cheap but you generally get what you pay for, especially in PSUs. Reply
A Stoner I thought this seemed expensive, but apparently mine is a super flower leadex. My understanding is they are near equal peers. I got mine for ~$280. Reply
spoidz I had been Seasonic on mine and all my relatives builds but there were a few poor reviews for specific models recently – apparently certain models just weren't measuring up in tests. The >1250 models seem to make the cut but many below that have noted issues. bmtphoenix Even a system with a 5090 won't use that much wattage, and does not need that kind of wattage. With connectors changing recently, it's not even future-proof in any real way. Sale or not, this is just throwing money down the drain. Reply
