Even before the ongoing component crisis, a $1,300 RTX 5070 Ti laptop was a great deal — now it's a borderline steal. MSI has packed the Vector 16 with a, well, 16-inch 1600p display running at 240 Hz. The machine is powered by a Ryzen 9 8940HX processor, a top-end chip featuring 16 cores and 32 threads. The RTX 5070 Ti here is a 140W variant, and is accompanied by 16 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1 TB SSD with a second M.2 slot for upgrades.
That hardware combo makes the Vector 16 a formidable laptop that can excel at both gaming and productivity tasks. The chassis is a bit old school with its plastic build and loud fans, but on the flip side, that means it should have respectable sustained performance.
