TerryLaze Full price games are not more expensive for the end user on steam than they are in a physical store or any other store front…case dismissed. Gamers are not the ones paying more on steam, quite the opposite we get huge discounts because of the huge competition from all the games being on steam. Reply

The author of this article seems to have misunderstood the complaint. This part of the complaint is about in game purchases being forced to go through Valve's payment processing. I'm not super familiar with Valve's policies here, but I believe a developer can have an external website where purchases can be made, but in game has to go through Valve. This is my understanding of how it works, but I may be wrong on this one. Reply

woot An article about this posted on pcgamer states that the lawsuit will proceed because valve lost the appeal to have the lawsuit dismissed, and even if valve will win, this will cost them a lot of money because hiring overseas lawyers is like 4x times more expensive than domestic lawyers. Reply
