ezst036 Sad turn of events. Just when Valve successfully competition'd Microsoft into making Xbox wide open for all PC gaming, not just Xbox titles too. But maybe there would be a silver lining to this. Whatever CPU Valve had in mind for the Steam Machine 2.0 might get some sort of an upgrade and when they release it later this year or early next year (etc) it'll be more beefy than the current specs. The CPU wasn't really the spec that mattered. The complaints were almost purely about the GPU being RDNA3 with 8 GB of VRAM, meaning only unofficial FSR4 support so far (INT8 is slower too), and not a future-proof amount of VRAM. There were some other minor nitpicks like the lack of a headphone jack, but most of the complaining has been around the GPU and the anticipated pricing. Reply
