Some of the potent builds have sold out, but there is plenty still to go around in terms of performant, well-specced PC builds at a reasonable price. If you're happy to eschew a 50-series GPU, for example, you can get an RTX 4060 with 32GB DDR5 and an Intel Core i7-14700F for just $999. Here are some of the highlights.
Note these builds are factory reconditioned. Per Woot, these have been returned, inspected, and restored to "full working condition" by either MSI or a certified partner. Each build comes with a manufacturer's warranty (180 days in MSI's case), and is "as close to new as you can get without technically being 'new.'"
The standout budget pick is this Intel Core i5-14400F with 16GB of DDR5, 1TB SSD, and an RTX 5060, which is a great starter build for any burgeoning gamer that won't break the bank.
Get a performant Intel Core i7-14700KF, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD, and an RTX 5070 GPU for just $1,399. That's pretty astonishing value in this market. Also includes Windows 11, and a mouse and keyboard!
For a bit more, you can have a similar build with a 1TB hard drive, but with Intel's much newer Ultra 7 265 processor. Even 32GB of DDR5 is worth around $3-400 in this economy.
If Ryzen is your preferred weapon of choice, with R7-8700F model also comes with 32GB of RAM, 2TB storage, RTX 5070, and Windows 11.
The most powerful build still on offer is this 9900X with 64GB of DDR5, 2TB SSD, RTX 5070 Ti, and Windows 11 Pro. For the parts on offer, this is a frankly brilliant deal.
As noted, there are some older 40-series Nvidia builds if you want to save a bit more money. But all of the above include the latest Nvidia graphics cards with support for the newly-announced DLSS 4.5, ensuring you'll get the best driver and feature support from Nvidia in the long term. Factory reconditioned isn't to be sniffed at in this economy, and MSI is a trusted industry brand. You can see the full list of reconditioned desktops at Woot . The sale ends on January 13 at 12am CT.
