JeffreyP55 Warm spot in my heart for the Motorola 68xxx series. From the 68000 and for me ended with the 68040. Amiga computers, never Apple. Ok, back to the boring Pippin story…. Reply

Fairly lackluster hardware specs and not cheap. Not a great game library. The price wasn't outrageous, considering what 3DO launched at ($700 in late 1993). If Pippin had full compatibility with MacOS apps, then I think $600 would've been quite reasonable. However, like with the Newton, I think Apple was onto something. The main issues were probably their execution and timing. Reply
