TechieTwo Like any other good or service they can only charge $4,000 if consumers are willing to pay that price. Reply
txfeinbergs Unfortunately, there are way more than 1000 millionaires in this world now so I don't think they will have a problem. Instead of a trophy wife (or perhaps in addition to a trophy wife), they can buy a trophy GPU!) Reply
ezst036 For that price did Asus at least fit this video card with the necessary electronics so that it splits the electrical current and is entirely immune to having a meltdown at the power cable? Reply
valthuer Don't know anything about the rest of the world, but €3.099 (which is roughly $3,600) is the lowest price for a standard 5090 here, in Greece. Sweet Jesus! Can't even begin to imagine how expensive ROG MATRIX will be. Reply
uplink-svk Lo and behold, a 4000e Red Pen*s! P.S.: Is it only me, or did anyone else shelled 3500 – 3800e for standard RTX 5090 at launch and now 2800 – 3400e? 🤔 I've went through this route for my personal use and fun and it's been extremely expensive: Astral > FE > Suprim SOC > Vanguard > FE > Astral, with respective scores of CW of Astrals' 3 – 4/10, FEs' 3,5 – 3,75, Suprim SOCs' 0,75 – 1,75/10, Vanguards' 1,75 – 2,5/10, FEs' R3, VN, 2024/2025 batch 3 – 3,5/10 and ended up with 2nd rev. pf Astral somewhere around 2- 2,75/10. All cost from 2799e to 3800e. So yeah, the Matrixs' gonna push the envelope to 4500 – 5000e, maybe even 5500 – 6000e here in Slovakia, iF there is one to be found. My limit is 4,3k. What a crazy World we live in… Reply

What a crazy World we live in… I live in Greece. Back in February, i sold my 4090 for €1.500, in order to cover part of the expenses for 5090. I had been left without a GPU for weeks, so i was "forced" to pay scalper for my MSI GeForce RTX™ 5090 32G GAMING TRIO OC, which i bought for €3.570. It hasn't gotten any better in my country and GPU prices are still crazy. No way in hell i'm gonna spend that much money on a graphics card ever again. FOMO may have no limits, but my wallet certainly does. :ROFLMAO: Reply

While people living in US and Japan have enough of everything, we tend to run out of stock pretty fast in Europe lately. So it's understandable, Your set of mind. I purchased two small memory kits a few weeks ago. 2x24GB, one cost 349e and the other 450e. Demand on GPUs and RAM is incredibly high due to Ai craze. Plus all the DDR4 systems are being migrated to DDR5. Reply
