Typically, with a bundle deal, you'll get a small discount on a bundle of components available at MSRP — maybe $20 to $30 for a small bundle, or upwards of $50 or $100 for a large one. These bundles are a bit different. RAM pricing is a major factor in building a new PC, so we're evaluating the bundles at B&H in a slightly different way.

B&H doesn't list the prices of individual components in a bundle, so we've shopped around to find the going price on each of the components individually, and then evaluated the RAM pricing in that context. We'll walk through what we found as we cover the bundles below.

First up is a bundle including the fastest CPU for gaming currently on the market, AMD's Ryzen 7 9850X3D. B&H has the CPU paired with the Asus ProArt X870E-Creator motherboard and 32GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 memory. If you bought the components on their own with current sales prices, you'd spend about $1,415 (just slightly off the $1,409.99 MSRP B&H quotes). With the bundle, you get everything for $1,259.99.

This bundle includes AMD's Ryzen 7 9850X3D processor, 32GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 memory, and an Asus ProArt X870E Creator motherboard.

Taking into account the cost of the other components, the memory here is about $260. That's the most expensive of the lot we have here, but it's a downright bargain compared to buying the memory on its own. Right now, you'll spend about $410 to $420 on this kit of memory, depending on where you buy it.

As for performance, the Ryzen 7 9850X3D is the fastest gaming CPU currently on the market. The base Ryzen 7 9800X3D isn't far behind (about 3% to 4%), but if you want to squeeze every last drop of performance out of your gaming rig, the 9850X3D is what you're after.

The bundle here comes with Corsair's standard Vengeance DDR5-6000 without lighting. If you want RGB, B&H is offering the same bundle with RGB RAM for for $14 more .

For something a bit more reasonably priced, B&H has a bundle around the Ryzen 7 7700X for $589.99. This bundle opts for the much cheaper Asus B650E Max Gaming motherboard, vastly reducing the price of the overall bundle (the ProArt board is north of $450). This bundle comes with just 16GB of DDR5-6000 memory, but it's also about half the price of the Ryzen 7 9850X3D bundles.

This bundle includes AMD's Ryzen 7 7700X, an Asus B650E Max Gaming Wi-Fi motherboard, and 16GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 memory is a 2x8GB configuration.

To buy all of these components right now, you'll spend about $650. Keep in mind that price is account for current sales as well. As you can see from our roundup of the best Prime Day CPU deals , the Ryzen 7 7700X is on a deep discount right now. With regular pricing, this bundle of components would easily reach into the $750 range. With current pricing, the memory clocks in at $210, but again, the discount is far greater if you look at the typical street price for the other components.

The Ryzen 7 7700X doesn't have the gaming prowess of AMD's more expensive X3D CPUs, but it's still a solid all-around option, especially at this price.

As you can see from our benchmarks above, the chip offers gaming performance that's competitive with Intel's Core i5-13600K, falling just short of the newer Ryzen 5 9600X and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus. Critically, however, this bundle unlocks an AM5 platform, giving you access to a future Ryzen 7 9800X3D upgrade in the future.

Again, we're opting for the lowest price here, which is a bundle with stock Corsair Vengeance memory. If you want the RGB version, B&H has it available at a $5 upcharge .

Meeting in the middle of the other two bundles is a combo deal with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. Although the newer Ryzen 7 9800X3D is more powerful, last-gen's 7800X3D still beats just about every other gaming CPU on the market.

This bundle includes AMD's Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 16GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 memory, and an Asus ProArt X870E Creator motherboard.

Using the lowest current sales on all of these items, you'll spend about $1,113 on them individually. That includes a discount on the Ryzen 7 7800X3D that's taken it down below $350, as well. The chip normally sells for around $380 to $400. Even with the sales prices, the kit of memory here costs around $170 assuming you bought the other components at their current sales price.

The motherboard here and in the 9850X3D bundle above accounts for a large portion of the cost; the ProArt X870E Creator is about $500. That's not a price gouge. The ProArt X870E Creator is just a flagship board, and it comes with a price to match. It includes two PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots, along with dual LAN, sporting a 2.5Gb and 10Gb port. These are the best bundle deals we found at B&H, but you can shop the whole collection now . Currently, the sales are set to expire on June 27.
