The Razer Nommo speakers are a simple 2.0 configuration, with no added subwoofer, so don't expect a tsunami of bass. But this can be a good thing, especially if you're going to be using these speakers in an environment that doesn't need to hear thumping sub-bass rumbling through the property. Making a small set of speakers like this is ideal for some PC or console gaming in the bedroom, or even a dorm room at college, where you want to limit disturbances.
The speakers themselves are attractive little cans hoisted on small stands with 3" woven glass fiber drivers mounted in the front and a bass port at the rear, to add a little kick to the bass frequencies. Volume and bass controls are mounted on the right speaker's stand and let you pump the bass (as much as you can on a 2.0 set of speakers) with its automatic gain control. These are older Razer speakers and have been replaced by newer models on the Razer store, which is one of the reasons these speakers are much cheaper now.
A two-speaker system that's ideal for a minimalist desktop PC setup. Each speaker contains a 3” driver, and the speaker chassis has rear-facing bass ports delivering rich sound without the need for an extra subwoofer.
A downside to these speakers for PC use is a lack of USB connectivity. You need to connect these Razer Nommo speakers to your PC via a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable to an appropriate audio port on either the rear IO of your motherboard or the headphone jack of your PC's case.
