Stomx The news is believable specifically after Kimi K3 over-jumped in many tests other AI models. This model though will not be easily accessible for enthusiasts anyway as even 4bit Q4 one requires 1.5TB of RAM and full model needs 3TB. Lower quantization models are usually a garbage The prospects look even dimmer for the future. In a year the RAM requirements will further grow 2-4 times and you will just naturally say bye to your dreams for open local AI. We all will pay to Bigtech for AI subscriptions same as all in US pay today to Microsoft for the Office and MS gets 100s of $B just from that. OpenOffice or LibreOffice in Linux are a garbage and only for basic use (try to use and edit equations there, looks like their developers are sleeping on their hands for 3 decades). Reply
