M0rtis This is quite cool because if you look at some of the Power->Performance graphs for the RTX 5000 series GPUs they show that the GPUs are limited by their power envelope Many laptop modders have made serious gains by increasing their laptops power limits by shunt modding them. In an already insufficient thermal space like a laptop, and which often have limited cooling, this will not turn out nice. No amount of cooling pads, or thermal paste will be able to offload the heat. The fans in a low to midrange gaming laptop will be very loud. Maybe on the most expensive laptops, with extreme cooling, this could be of benefit, but even then those systems will run very hot. Reply
