Nvidia still hasn't officially announced when DLSS 5 is dropping or what GPUs it will support. DLSS 4.5, the latest iteration of the tech, supports RTX GPUs all the way back to the RTX 20-series. However, it's not rocket science to deduce that the RTX 50-series will be the first to receive DLSS 5, because it's the only family that can natively read certain FP8 libraries that DLSS 5 depends on.

It does look terrible and it eats away around 35% of the performance on an RTX 5090, and maybe more on lower end cards. It won't even work well on the RTX 30X0 series because of how poor the technology truly is. I definitely won't be using it… Reply
Arkitekt78 Well if you are into slow framerates and all the people in your game looking like shriveling husks that look to be near death, then DLSS is the technology for you. Reply
Vicecrow Maybe can use a rtx 5060 to use dlss 5 and another geforce to brute force the game? Will be Nice! Two over priced gpus one system Reply
