Former EVGA employee recounts company’s degrading relationship with Nvidia before 2022 blow-up

das_stig Always bought EVGA over others even if it cost more, more reliable and customer services helpful. Shame AMD didn't jump in and offer them a deal or even buy them out to be the inhouse brand name. Reply

txfeinbergs Yeah, they were always my go-to brand. I always knew they were going to stand behind their products unlike the horror stories we are getting every day now with RMAs being denied from company xyz. Reply

Based on bits of stories I just read about EVGA's CEO and co-founder, I think there is more to the story to "not partnering with AMD". Even though I agree it is a shame that companies who act responsible, are the ones left behind. Not something that one regular Joe could change, but something that a group of Joes could initiate. Former EVGA employee recounts company’s degrading relationship with Nvidia before 2022 blow-up : Read more EVGA was my go to brand for many generations of NVIDIA gpu's. FoxTread3 October 1, 2026 (dated for context and reference) – Yeah… pour one out for EVGA🍾😢 After two plus decades of being a Tech enthusiast and PC builder. I greatly miss EVGA's quality products, (all of the major parts in my two full tower PCs, including a 3080 ti "whatever", are EVGA), and fantastic customer service, which was the touchstone for that kind of service. No company or organization is perfect, and will only succeed if it makes the right decisions and obviously acts on them . According to this article, EVGA's business model and philosophy, and the cut-throat competition in the small world of the Tech industry. Were some of the reasons for its demise. Great customer service, and loyalty to customers, should be a great asset for any company. In the meantime, companies in most businesses/industries try to find ways to screw their customers over in one way or another. 🤨 Reply

Bigshrimp EVGA dipped out after Nvidia showed how dirty it was and the way they treat their "partners". I miss EVGA, as they had good products and customer service. Reply
