The last few seconds show the player wearing some sort of electrical contraption zapping them every time they get shot in game. This does not just give them a whole-body shock — instead, it only electrifies the specific limb that received damage, like an arm or a leg. But when they were cornered and mowed down by their opponent, you can see them getting knocked off their chair with the electrocution they received from their arms and legs up to their torso.
This gaming feedback rig isn’t practical at all, especially as you will have to reload the fireworks after every encounter — so you either have to pause your game after every fire fight, or you need to pay someone to do it for you. More than that, the electrical zap effect is visibly painful and dangerous, which kind of defeats the purpose of playing fps games. Still, the post gained a lot of admiration from the gaming community, with even tech mogul Elon Musk commenting, “Hardcore,” followed by a laughing emoji.
This isn’t the first time that we’ve seen gamers take gaming to the literal next level. A Bilibili user called blyat, possibly the person in this Tweeted video, built a three-crew tank rig to play World of Tanks in , while another one built a jet fighter sim rig , complete with a full motion gaming chair, a recoiling machine gun, rocket launchers that shoot fireworks, countermeasure dispensers behind the cockpit, and afterburners that spurt out literal flames.
