This compact tenkeyless keyboard's Optipoint linear switches use light instead of an electrical switch to register a keypress, making them silky smooth and essentially impervious to many of the ailments of conventional switches. The actuation point is adjustable between 1 mm and 1.5 mm, too, so you can toggle between modes as you see fit.
Since the actuation is performed by light, there are no vibrations from a press, and therefore, no need for debouncing algorithms, and thus no chance for repeated keystrokes and zero latency compared to conventional designs with debouncing circuitry.
The Steelseries Apex 9 TKL is a high-quality keyboard with hot-swappable optical switches with two actuation points, a volume roller, and RGB LED lighting.
If the switches (or, say, the WASD block) aren't to your liking, they're hot-swappable too, and the PCB is mounted on an aluminum frame. This combination of features doesn't often appear in keyboards with price tags under three figures.
In case that's not enough to convince you, there's RGB LED lighting, a volume roller, and two sets of stands for height adjustment. Steelseries also includes a keycap puller, should you need it. Get a Steelseries Apex 9 TKL for $90.99 from Amazon and improve your gaming, typing, or both.
