ejolson Just before Christmas those 24 TB Seagate drives were under $250 and I got two. Then 28 TB USB drives were available at the same price. I didn't get any because the last time I shucked a drive I hurt myself and didn't feel like doing that again. Had I know prices would double in two months… Reply
GoldenBullet https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/external-hdds/colossal-seagate-26tb-hdd-drops-to-usd249-99-just-over-usd9-per-tb-shuckable-high-capacity-external-drive-smashes-all-time-amazon-low Good thing I picked up 2 of these, but that was also late november, and this news says HD prices increased since September, yet in November the price for the above has never been lower. So seagate would not have offered this amazing deal on black friday if there was any type of shortage for hard drives or a predicted shortage. Reply
