tennis2 RGB Mini LED, sometimes referred to as Micro LED Ermm…. having an RGB backlight is NOT the same thing as microLED. Reply

8086 I bet there is a 90% this monitor was made using pirated western technologies. Reply

Tanakoi Sooo many problems with this article. This isn't the first mini LED monitor by far, and mini LED is not the same thing as micro LED. Reply

I'm waiting for a 40-45" microled 5k ultrawide (my dream monitor). MicroLED WILL be the tech to beat as soon as they get manufacturing costs way down.. MicroLED will rule all because those panels do not need a backlite at all. from the panels I've seen so far, they all are capable of 4000+ nits and every screen I've seen is absolutely gorgeous. I was thinking that everything I knew about microLED was wrong, and that backlight and zones were somehow a part of it. Backlighting sucks. I'd love to have all the advantages of OLED without any of the disadvantages… microLED! Reply

I'd love to have all the advantages of OLED without any of the disadvantages… microLED! MicroLED will never get all the advantages of OLED tech. It will never be as responsive (GtG), fast (max hz), or per pixel lighting. Even then, if we can get a 480p+ amount of micro LEDs behind a 4k screen, anyone would be hard-pressed to see a halo effect if the tech is reasonable managed by the panel. Reply

The response time MicroLED is far **faster** than OLED. Inorganic LEDs are faster than organic. And you can already buy per-pixel lit micro LED monitors with true 4K resolution … if you don't mind them in a 130" size, rather than 30". But another few years of development will shrink them down further. Reply

GoneRogue Awe man this gonna be like a $1500 monitor.. I want it though. Def going to cop when it drop! Reply

I was not aware that micro-LED became small enough that large panels were possible. Maybe in 20 years we will have defect free 32 inch 4k micro-LED panels for less than 5-10k. Reply
