Minisforum is shipping this device with a 128GB system disk, according to the spec sheet. That uses one of the five M.2 slots.
There is probably sufficient I/O for many users, including a pair of 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports (but no wireless/BT). We also note that there are 3x USB4 ports, two of which are USB4 v2 with up to 80 Gbps.

Has Minisforum chosen specs well with its fixed 64GB memory and minimal starter storage, given its product marketing? Buyers will vote with their wallets.

usertests I don't think most NASes need anywhere near these kinds of specs. It looks like they're trying to create a new category of product, the "AI NAS". Running OpenClaw on a random machine is one thing, giving it >100 TB of data to access is another. Did AMD ever officially support 8533 MT/s with Strix Halo? Reply
