This channel usually tests with Windows 10 first, then tries XP/8.1, or Linux: https://www.youtube.com/@BudgetBuildsOfficial/videos I think running Windows XP is most relevant when you have a severe bottleneck like a very old CPU or low memory, to the point where you gain performance by moving to the older OS. I'd have to check one of these videos out again to find the explanation. Other than that, I can only imagine it's for nostalgia. Reply
