Shiznizzle The US will lose this AI race. They do not even have the infrastructure to power what they have in GPU's and CPU's let alone the fabs they want to build. Then there are these nasty people called citizens who do not want these data centers, rightfully so, in their neighborhoods. These citizens will throw you out of office now by means of recall's if you vote against their wishes not to have data centers. About time that elected officials start being afraid of the voters. Over 900 GW of power introduced in china just last year alone i think i read this last month. While the US may have the chips, they cant power them and china will catch up eventually. It took them a year and a half to totally drop US chips. This bubble will pop but will the government be forced to bail out private companies yet again as they are too big to fail? Reply
upsetkiller Ah the gasps of a dying empire. China has already overtaken usa in most key science fields , this is inevitable. The champions of fair competition and trade reduced to the least trusted entities that will do anything in their power to sabotage other emerging regions. Reply

SkyBill40 They shouldn't have those AI GPUs… unless Huang can find a better way to make more money in them being sold to China. Clearly he has an interest in seeing them there since they've already been sold to China. If he felt that strongly about them not having them at all, he would have made that a focal point. Reply
