The recent DLL leak has led to some modders porting it to older RTX 40-series cards , or even older Ampere or Turing GPUs, with predictably varying results.

Vicecrow Only game i Have tried to put Dlss 5 is the quake 2 RTX and get 100 fps at 2560×1440 with it The RTX 5070 is undervolt and underclocked. Only thing I see no usage at all at cpu. It's crazy! Reply

Bigshrimp I knew they would lock it officially to the RTX 5000 series, even it could work in the 4000 and 3000 series. Everything the company does is anti-consumer. I am not a fan of the tech either, as everything is so yassified and looks horrible with it in use. I would rather play a game as the artists intended, not with a slop filter on top of it. Yuck! SkyBill40 Even as the owner of a 5080, given the slop factor based on previous coverage, I won't be using it for a while (if at all). And the performance hit comes as no surprise on older hardware, though I wasn't expecting to see it be so heavy handed on last gen cards. "Just buy it" though, right, Jensen? Reply

Vicecrow They don't lock it at 4000 3000 2000 series. They don't spend money and Humam power to do it. The internet Will do it for free. after that its just ctrl+c and ctrl+v How many free workers it's out there. Reply

The leather jackets won't sell themselves. Jensen has quite the collection these days. Reply

alrighty_then This reminds me a bit of the AI that used pro high-res photos of the moon to overlay and make your own casual phone pics of the moon seem incredible. Seems shady in that scenario – but – for a game where I just want it to look 'real' this could be great. If it kills framerates it will be disabled. Probably going to feel like a big advance and turn heads. Reply

txfeinbergs Looking forward to this. It looks amazing and no amount of whining is going to stop this from coming, just like ray tracing. Reply

"Just buy it" was actually TH before the 2080 Ti even came out. Jensen is "The more you buy, the more you save!". alrighty_then said: This reminds me a bit of the AI that used pro high-res photos of the moon to overlay and make your own casual phone pics of the moon seem incredible. I remember that crap. Hilarious but very stupid. Reply
