Or did they think they would just go on blatantly ignoring what their constituents actually wanted, while literally having people arrested at council meetings for trying to voice their opinions, without things ever escalating? I'm not saying violence and death threats are okay, but anyone who's surprised at this development hasn't been paying attention. You can't just continuously make life harder, trample people's rights, and hoard ever more wealth and power for the 0.001% without things breaking at some point. Reply
Bigshrimp People are pissed off when they get no say in what gets approved in their town. If the majority says no to something being built and gets approved anyways, that's corruption and those that approved should be held accountable. Violence is not something I condone. I understand the anger though. Reply

Yeah, they don't care, that's why they don't explain their decisions and why they arrest people for using their first amendment rights. The people that are paying attention are noticing a dire trend too. It's only going to get worse until more people stand up and push back. Reply
