If you're on the hunt for a powerful laptop that you can use for both work and a bit of play, we've got you covered. Best Buy has a large 16-inch laptop discounted by a tidy $300, which has the power to game and plenty of oomph for work applications. Gigabyte's Aero X16 is now just $1349.99 at Best Buy , down $300 from the original $1649.99 list price. This is an exceptional price for a laptop with the latest Nvidia 50-series GPU inside, an RTX 5070 to be precise, and lots of RAM.
Inside the Gigabyte Aero X16 in this deal are the following components: An Nvidia RTX 5070 graphics card with 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM, AMD's Ryzen AI 7 350 (8-core, 16-thread) processor, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SSD for storage. The large 16-inch screen has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, with a 165Hz refresh rate for smooth gaming.
This 16-inch Aero X16 from Gigabyte packs an Nvidia RTX 5070 into its compact frame, along with an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. The screen resolution of this laptop is 2560 x 1600 pixels, with a 165Hz refresh rate. On sale, this laptop offers excellent performance for the price and can double as both a work and a gaming laptop.
In our review of the Gigabyte Aero X16 , we found the laptop to be a well-rounded offering from Gigabyte with plenty of gaming prowess thanks to the dedicated RTX 5070 graphics card, solid hardware choices, and price. Suitable for both gaming and handling daily work tasks, the Aero X16 had an excellent battery life that lasted longer than the average workday, and came top compared to other similar spec laptops that we've had the chance to test.
Not to look out of place in an office, the Gigabyte Aero X16 is a fairly unassuming slate-gray laptop with a relatively thin chassis. There is still plenty of RGB if you desire it, with backlighting on the keyboard, but you're not stuck with something that would bring stares in a professional setting. Speaking of work environments, you can easily connect up extra monitors to either its HDMI 2.1 port or USB Type-C port with DisplayPort 1.4.
This is a good price on a "gaming" laptop that contains an above-average 32GB of memory and 1TB SSD. Plus, the inclusion of the RTX 5070 means it can handle most of the latest video games comfortably. Move fast, though, as there are fewer than 24 hours left on this discount.
