warezme People needing to cheat to make themselves seem better or feel better doesn't even make sense. I mean you cheated so it was never your skill to begin with. If people want to mod or add cheat codes to their single player game then go for it. It's only you and your game. When cheating is in a public arena your cheat is hurting other people and taking away from their experience. Reply
bit_user I always assumed those "click the box to prove you're not a robot" screens used a similar technique of polling the mouse and analyzing its movement against a model of how humans would mouse over and click a box on the screen. Not sure if that's true or whether I read or simply imagined it. Reply

You really think it is to make them look like top tier players? These people that cheat are psychotic and do not care, they want to cause the players that are top tier damage and that is their only reasoning behind cheating. Reply

From my experience over my 26 years of online gaming, cheaters can practice almost psychotic doublethink, where they have to cheat to do well in games, but then they tell themselves that they are great for "beating the system" rather than because of any actual skill. I've also noticed a lot of them are horribly bitter people who enjoy making other people suffer, so in some cases they don't even care if they get called out for cheating in a match (as long as they don't get banned/kicked) because then they get enjoyment out of knowing the other players in the match are annoyed at them but can't do much about it.
