Faiakes OK, so the world 'locate' is doing some heavy lifting there. Do we mean to say that it'll probably reach the general area is supposed to? Reply

dva852 Drone warfare, specifically in the Russian-Ukrainian war, is a fascinating topic, and points the way to the future of warfare. We see the effectiveness of drones in setting up kill zones and completely stymieing major concentration of forces. The tactic for attacks is now via infiltration via small groups. Aerial warfare, in forms of UAVs, is the prominent aspect, but ground warfare is slowly taking shape, as Ukrainians are starting to make use of UGVs not just for transport & logistics, but for combat. Naval drones are somewhere in between. Drone warfare will get ever better, and will largely supplant humans in combat. It's another reason why AI development can't and won't be slowed, as AI goes hand-in-glove with drone autonomy. Drone tech is moving so fast that it's hard to keep track of. I found the channel below to be informative in tracking it at the bird's-eye level, along with some geopolitic tidbits, https://www.youtube.com/@ZeihanonGeopolitics/videos g4y_bth79kI View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4y_bth79kI Reply

Vanderlindemedia It does not have to be all high-tech or super expensive. It is designed to lure off the air defenses so you can actually shoot the bigger stuff into it without getting taken down. The cost of a air defense rocket vs a DIY drone like this is immense. So in that regard russia is simply being creative and comes up with something that simply does the job. Reply
