HardwiredWireless Now if they can get the brightness up to match LEDs and prevent the burn in they'll have a monitor with buying. Reply

bill001g When they get a 6090 that is upscaling from 720p and generating 10x fake frames maybe they can get a game running with high setting to get than many frames at 4k. Current monitors are already many years ahead of video cards when you talk about 4k and want a quality image. The larger problem is the game companies seem to be going in the opposite direction. Instead of optimizing their video code they would rather just use fake frame generators on the video cards and then pretend they can get good frame rates at 4k. These companies need to work to fix the 1% low problem rather caring about some average or maximum rate. Reply

Eximo Nothing wrong with overbuying a monitor. I bought 1440p 144hz when I couldn't really achieve that (except in older titles) And now the same with 1440p 240hz. Nothing I play hits 240 FPS, I think. But it is smooth enough that I don't care. And yeah, that 6090 is likely to come out at some point. Doubt it will do 360 FPS on a triple AAA recent release, but maybe they really like Minecraft. Reply
