cp0x No surprise here. It'll be $249 at MicroCenter before long, and probably at NewEgg by Black Friday. The "list price" thing is just weird with CPUs. It should be "manufacturer's suggested price for the current month" or something like that. Reply

cp0x thisisaname said: More Like what they think they can get away with charging this month. Exactly. And that's fine: If the demand is there so that people will pay way more the item, then why not charge that much? But a month later, when the initial demand has dissipated, don't pretend like the "list price" for the item is that high price that a small number of enthusiasts were willing to pay a month ago … Reply
PEnns MicroCenter sells pre-builts with 7500X3D. I wonder if they will switch to this one when supplies start running low. Reply

Until Q4. Instead of Micro Center for a change. AMD Ryzen 7 7700X3D is exclusive to Newegg in North America — $329 CPU won't be available at other vendors until at least Q4 Micro Center still has a bunch of the Micro Center exclusive 7600X3D in stock, so they will probably use that. Micro Center sells an unusual 7500X3D bundle with the CPU pre-installed on a motherboard (so it better work!). Reply
