bill001g What a click bait article. If you look at the news sites from the city in OK it was a break in a underground line for a fire hydrant on the property. This could have been a trucking warehouse rather than a data center they have the same requirements for fire hydrants on the site. Reply

juggeryot Clickbait or not, because of finding out they have been ignoring the law, the person who authorized the workers to go ahead should face jail time and criminal negligence charges. I'm sick of hearing about companies breaking the law with no consequences. If they're going to act like criminals they should be given a criminal record. Reply
bill001g Not saying the company should not be in trouble but it really has nothing to do with the water use by data centers. Without a lot more digging I am not so sure it was even a data center. This company makes equipment they sell to other companies that want portable data centers. The only reason this is making national news feeds is someone intentionally misrepresented the water leak and a bunch of larger news sources did not bother to check. You now have massive misinformation spreading because data center water usage is a popular topic. Reply
