
In addition to seeing CXMT ICs in mainstream memory kits, companies such as HP, Asus, and Acer have already started selling consumer devices, such as laptops or desktops with CXMT memory. Even Apple reportedly wants to buy memory chips from CXMT.
CXMT recently went public via IPO and saw its stock price skyrocket by 466% , raising over $8.6 billion. Without access to EUV machinery, CXMT will focus primarily on memory production and is rapidly building factories across China. The ambitious Chinese chipmaker hopes to steal 30% of the market share from the Big Three by 2030. It is just a matter of time before we start seeing CXMT ICs in all the prominent consumer memory brands.

usertests AMD doesn't even need more than 6000-6400 MT/s for Zen 5, perhaps 7200-8000 MT/s for Zen 6 (I'm guessing, not referencing any leaks). So CXMT is good enough already. Reply

Zaranthos Not really as impressive as the title alludes to. These are overclocking results and competing RAM companies have EXPO kits that outperform CXMT by quite a bit. Competing companies can hit DDR5-10000 on overclocks probably at lower latency and better overall timings likely still not reaching their ultimate potential overclocking capabilities because they're reaching the limits of the AM5 platform and CPU memory controller limits not the ultimate RAM limits. Test it again when ULL kits on next generation AMD CPU memory controllers unlock more overclocking potential and it'll look even less impressive. No long term reliability and platform product maturity parity exists yet either so if your cheap CXMT kit fails hopefully it's under warranty or you're buying another set of RAM. But the availability of this RAM mostly in China eases the supply constraints on the rest of the worlds RAM supply so everyone still wins during the AI shortage. Myself personally I won't be a customer of CXMT for any of my computers because speed and reliability are just as important as price to me, if not more so. Reply
