Commercial espionage and IP theft absolutely happens in the US, in multiple industries. Unless a major case, it often doesn't make the news cycle. It happens all over the globe, as well. Reply
Sluggotg Ok, I admit. I actually leaked corporate secrets from Sizzler, back in 1979 when I was working there as a teen. I told people their Proprietary secret ingredients in their Mustard Sauce was, Mustard and Mayo. (My boss told me it was illegal to reveal that). There was a fun scene in Fast Times at Ridgemont High where two characters were revealing the secret sauce recipes from the places they worked. I saw that when it came out in 82, great movie. Reply
JMarvelous All this copyright crap and patent crap does absolutely nothing to help humanity. It only serves to hold us back and I hope it all crumbles because I am sick and tired of this world full of liars and greedy thieves. Let the world burn! Reply
Ralston18 @JMarvelous Instead of "Let the world burn!" consider doing something to constructively and positively help. Not easy and a real world challenge for many….. AKA: "Actions speak louder than words." Reply

People who spend decades gaining experience in software development – they all owe you a favor, right? Great idea: go to work tomorrow, and tell your boss you don't need vacation, you want to work for the next three weeks for free. And when you have completed that, you can come back here and raise a finger and sing you want your money for nothin' and your software for free. Reply
