Given how intense the market has been lately due to the AI boom, a Newegg combo deal has often been one of the best value ways to pick up a new set of components for your PC. The discount means you're getting the RAM for the equivalent cost of just $56.01 compared to the other components, giving you breathing room to put that $413.98 saving towards other parts for your build.
Save 20% on this combined Newegg PC hardware kit, scoring you AMD's first dual-X3D chip in the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, along with an Asus ROG Strix X870E-E motherboard, 32GB (2x16GB) of Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6400 RAM, and a 2TB WD Black SN7100 SSD.
As our 9950X3D2 review makes clear, the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 is not really a CPU with casual gaming in mind. AMD has built this product to push its current 3D V-cache technology to the absolute limit, delivering the first X3D chip with extra L3 cache across both CCDs. The end result is a CPU that beats the 9950X3D as the fastest CPU you can buy for gaming.
The 9950X3D2 has 16 cores and 32 threads, shipping with a 5.6 GHz boost clock and a TDP rating of 200W, along with that (all-important) doubled L3 cache capacity of 192MB. The power demands make this a power-hungry CPU in comparison to the 9800X3D, which is still the best CPU for most gamers in our opinion. The CPU benchmark data below proves, however, that the 9950X3D2 is the champion right now, matching the 9800X3D's in-game performance while besting the 9950X3D in multi-threaded tasks by around 4%.

This is a board that scored a four out of five in our review, and it's a model that we've recommended as one of the best motherboard options for under $500. It has three PCIe 5.0 M.2 sockets, a further two PCIe 4.0 M.2 sockets, along with an abundance of USB ports. This is a good, mid-tier option that enthusiasts will love.
For memory, you're also getting 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RGB RAM. This kit from Corsair comes with two 16GB modules, rated at 6,400 MT/s with CL36 latency. This dual-channel RAM comes in a black colorway but does feature customizable RGB lighting at the top, which you can set up and adjust using the Corsair iCue app. This is fast RAM for gaming, and 32GB is still a solid amount for handling the demands of the most resource-hungry modern games, too.
Given how pricy SSDs have become lately, it's nice to see an SSD thrown in this kit combo. You're getting a 2TB WD Black SN7100 NVMe M.2 SSD here, which, as our SN7100 review explains, is a power-efficient drive that offers PCIe 4.0 performance, hitting up to 7,250 MB/s sequential read and 6,900 MB/s sequential write speeds. That's only marginally slower than the best SSD that offers Gen 4 speeds, the Samsung 990 Pro, which hits 7,450 and 6,900 MB/s apiece. Thanks to the huge demand pressures caused by AI, buying this SSD alone would cost you $499.99 right now, so it's good to get it in a cut-price combo here.
The RAM isn't cheap, either, with a $469.99 cost for this 32GB kit if you bought it alone, not to me, along with the high-end $899 launch price for the 9950X3D2 and the $399.99 you'd need to pay for this Asus gaming motherboard. All in all, that makes the $1,704.99 sale price for this Newegg combo a great option for an upgrade or a newly built rig, especially if the 9950X3D2 is on your radar. The $413.98 discount here might not last as Newegg can (and often does) pull combos from sale without notice, so jump on this deal quickly if you're interested.
