The exploding ryzens only got fixed by setting a limit in the agesa/bios, with the same logic there is nothing preventing any ryzen cpu from exploding at any mobo issue either. Reply

If Raptor Lake ever reverts to its original behavior, how it was operating out in the open for over a year before being caught, for whatever reason (such as a flawed update by the motherboard manufacturer), then it will start to silently degrade. That's plainly worse than Ryzen failures caused by motherboard manufacturers setting high voltage/current limits not recommended by AMD. Reply

Instead of having to deal with week long RMA as soon as it happens for your CPU and most probably for your mobo as well since the explosions usually damage the socket as well. Reply
