The big win, though, is that VRAM. 16GB of GDDR7 is a significantly better option for any build, but especially compared to the 8GB variants you'll usually find at this price point. It gives you much greater headroom for performance while playing the most resource-heavy games, especially if 1440p is in your sights.
The GPU isn't the only good part about this build, however. While the Intel Core i7-14700F is getting older, this Raptor Lake Refresh CPU is still a popular choice in pre-built systems at this price point. It ships with 20 cores, a max turbo clock speed of 5.4 GHz, and a 65W TPD. Those 20 cores are split across eight performance cores, which are the best options for gaming, along with 12 efficient cores for multi-threaded work. Performance-wise, the 14700F won't be a bottleneck alongside the RTX 5060 Ti at either 1080p or 1440p while gaming.
